This year, as Physicians Working Together celebrates its 11th anniversary, the organization is proud to announce Darrin Ward as its 11th Medical Student Scholarship recipient.

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Kimberly F. Jackson, Physicians Working Together was created with a clear mission: to connect, collaborate, and care. What began as a vision to bring physicians together has grown into a platform centered on mentorship, medical student encouragement, physician leadership, and community impact.

Ward is a medical student at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, College of Medicine, where he is part of the school’s inaugural class.
